U.S. Census Bureau 2026 Gazetteer Files · 2026
All 2026 Census places in the 50 states and DC, plus active governmental county subdivisions (functional statuses A, B, C, G). Statistical CDPs are labeled as census-designated places. Towns and townships are labeled by their official legal designation. Statistical county divisions, inactive/nonfunctioning subdivisions, and fictitious fill entities are excluded. Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories are outside this directory's state/DC scope. Geographic entities may overlap; a town and a CDP of the same name can legitimately be distinct entities. This is a location directory, not evidence of available permit records or verified contacts. Retrieved 2026-10-10.

Does not enumerate every neighborhood, historic place name, or unincorporated community within a municipality. Later municipal changes may not be reflected.
