Good to know.
Has the builder already been chosen?
Often, yes. An issued permit may name the appointed builder. These records help trades and suppliers research the project and ask that business about remaining work. They do not confirm an open contract or a homeowner looking for a builder. Check the recorded stage and ask what is still available before quoting.
Who can I contact?
Open the record’s contact section to see the public business, its role where known, and the source and check date. Some records have a phone or email; others have only a name or no matched contact. Ask who handles your trade or supply package. Contact coverage varies by city and project.
Which membership fits my work?
Choose Single City when you research one connected municipality. Choose Core when you need several connected cities or work across Canada and the U.S. Both plans let one person save permitted research to the same account and download records within their purchased scope.
Search residential permit activity by address, city, property type or scope. Open recorded additions, conversions and renovations, follow municipal sources, save useful properties and permits, and download matching research within your plan. You do not need to upload a sale listing to research an address.
Which contacts are included?
Some Ontario records have independently checked public business contacts. Buffalo records include business phones where a contractor licence matches the city’s active register. Other U.S. feeds publish contractor names where supplied; independent contact verification varies. Each record shows its available contact details and sources.
Are these homes for sale?
Permit records describe recorded work. Reviewed, authorized agent-submitted homes for sale are a separate member section. Submitting a listing is free; a full MLS feed is not connected.
How do sign-in and cancellation work?
After payment, use the same email for your account. Sign in with a secure email link, then set an optional password in Account security for future visits. Cancel future renewals online before your next billing date; access continues through your paid period.
Can I change my Single City or an existing subscription?
Your purchased city is stored with your subscription. Contact support before changing cities or plans. Existing subscriptions keep their current billing terms and research access; opening this page does not change them.
